Beth Graybill and Dr. Katie Elliot - Loving our neighbors is at the heart of what Jesus calls us to, but it’s hard to love our neighbors if we don’t know our neighbors. So for three weeks, we’re hearing from partners who can help us understand what others are facing, whether here in the neighborhood, or in the global community. These conversations will give us the chance to grow in empathy and become more educated about what some of the most vulnerable people in our world are experiencing, and what we can do to help.  This weekend we talked with Dr. Katie Elliot, Executive Director at St. Margaret’s House. St. Margaret's House is day center for women in downtown South Bend that seeks to affirm the dignity of women and children by providing a safe space and meeting essential needs through the healing power of a loving community.
