2/21 Embracing Suspension & Reversal - The Wisdom of The Hanged Man (eps.115)
from it's giving mystical · host kirsten/ giving mystical
Welcome back, mystical ones! This week, we're keeping the podcast short and sweet because, honestly, I’ve been hit with the flu (or something equally awful), and I haven't been able to get out of bed for the past 48 hours. But even in this space of rest and recovery, I felt deeply called to share this message with you: I’m with you, and the tarot is with you. This week, the tarot offers us The Hanged Man—a card that invites us into a state of pause, suspension, and reversal. It’s a card that can elicit very different reactions. Some feel a sense of spaciousness and relief, while others feel discomfort, resistance, or even fear. Whatever your reaction, this is an invitation to sit with the energy rather than rush through it. Suspension & Waiting – This card asks us to pause and trust that stillness has wisdom. Reversal of Perspective – A shift in how you see things could bring clarity. Letting Go of Urgency – If you’re feeling pressure to make a decision, consider waiting and allowing things to unfold naturally. This is a week to notice where urgency shows up in your life. Of course, some things require immediate action, but if there’s something you’ve been ruminating on, overanalyzing, or feeling pressured to decide, give yourself permission to pause. If something is truly meant for you, it will still be there after you’ve taken a moment to breathe. Place The Hanged Man card on your altar or somewhere visible. Spend time meditating with it—what messages arise for you? Notice where this energy of pause and perspective shift is asking to be honored in your life.I’m personally feeling this lesson deeply as I surrender to rest and let my body heal. Whatever form this energy takes for you, may you heed the call to slow down, and may it feel like an act of love rather than resistance.Sending you so much love and wishing you space for suspension and permission for pause this week.See you next time. 💫
