2/22/26 - So that No One May Boast!

In 1 Corinthians 1:26–2:5, Paul reminds us that God builds His kingdom in a way that shatters human pride—choosing the unlikely, saving by sheer grace, and working through weakness so that no one can take credit. Our righteousness, wisdom, and redemption are not found in personality, platform, or performance, but in Christ alone and the power of the Holy Spirit. In a culture obsessed with credentials and influence, this passage calls the church back to humble confidence: proclaim the gospel faithfully, trust the Spirit fully, and give all the glory to God.
