2/23/23 B-Side Bois w/Casey Hansen of Waverly-Shell Rock Rugby

The Bois talk with one of the coaches from the defending 2A Iowa Youth Rugby Association Boys' State Championship coaches, Casey Hansen of Waverly-Shell Rock. He gives us insight on how the program is looking to not only maintain their place at the top but also how they look to continue to improve. Casey also helps with many select side opportunities for our Iowa High School boys and he gives us a look at the Iowa Select Side program and Rebel Rugby, more on that last one later. After that, the Bois may be uninformed but still preview the weekend for the American Raptors, Major League Rugby, and 6 Nations competitions. Lastly, Mr. Gray gets on a soapbox to talk about refereeing rugby in Iowa, an opportunity to get certified at the Quad City Irish hosted site, and makes another plea for treating our referees with more respect as we look to improve rugby in all aspects!
