New Autism Window Decals Aim to Improve Safety and Awareness

02-28-25 | Sharon Draeger from the Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center joined Travis and Bryan on East Georgia’s Morning Show to discuss a new initiative providing window decals for homes and vehicles indicating that an autistic person may be present. Sharon explained how the decals can help improve communication and awareness during emergency situations by alerting first responders and community members that someone with autism may be inside. The conversation also highlighted the importance of autism awareness, family support resources, and creating safer, more understanding communities for individuals on the autism spectrum and their caregivers.
