2.3 How to understand the messages from ceremonies

We all had the experience of seeing something, receiving a message during a ceremony and do not know understanding it.  Our mind cannot help but look for a meaning. It often looks for a meaning outside of us, from others or maybe even on google...and then create a whole story on that artificial imposed meaning, sometimes taking important decisions like starting a new path and studies based on a forced interpretation.  So how can we understand what the medicine is telling us?
