2.69 The History of Viziers, Joseph’s New Name, Genesis 38

This episode covers the concept of a vizier, essentially the position to which Pharaoh appoint Joseph. Also, at the same time, Pharaoh changes Joseph’s name to Zaphnath-Paaneah. The meaning and message behind this name is covered. Finally, I circle back to cover the history of Genesis Chapter 38, specifically the cities of Timnah and Adullam. Next week, I’ll cover the history starting in the Genesis Chapter 42 and continuing for a couple of chapters.
