2 | A Tree & It's Fruit

What does the fruit of your life reveal about what’s happening at the root? In Episode 2 of Legacy Discussions, Pastor Adam shares a message on “A Tree & Its Fruit,” exploring Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7 and the biblical picture of our lives as trees that are known by the fruit they produce. From Psalm 1 to Galatians 5 and John 15, Scripture gives us a powerful picture of what it means to be rooted in God, walk by the Spirit, and abide in Christ. We consider the difference between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit, and why lasting spiritual fruit isn’t something we simply manufacture—it grows out of a life connected to Jesus. Jesus calls us not only to examine the fruit we see, but to consider the root beneath it. What are we abiding in? What is shaping us? And what is our life producing? Listen in as we explore spiritual fruit, abiding in Christ, walking by the Spirit, and the roots that shape our lives, and discover what it means to bear fruit that reflects Jesus and lasts.
