2. Black women are erased from the Pan-Africanist story

have you wondered why there is little mention in published Pan-Africanist movements of Black women? we could attribute this solely to the patriarchal nature of our society, but we must also see how women are expected to gather and offer insight without recognition. there is an assumption that women are okay with being in the background as the supporters; and that women should be content with sacrifice for the sake of their male counterparts gaining notoriety. https://www.instagram.com/soundonsiren/
