2 Chronicles 17 & 18

In 2 Chronicles 17 & 18. Asa's son, Jehoshaphat, takes over as king of Judah. He followed the ways of David and lead the kingdom under God's authority and will. He took the Word of God to the towns and made sure the people of Judah had access to the Word. A revelation of God broke out as a result and it spread. Spending time with the Lord and in His Word impacts our lives as well as the lives of those around us. Revival starts with us. Jehoshaphat joins the king of Israel, Ahab, in a battle and Ahab has 400 prophets at his fingertips who are trained to tell him what he wants to hear. Jehoshaphat doesn't settle for that. He asks for 1 more who will speak the truth of God. Jehoshaphat would not settle for less, he was totally devoted to God. The true Word God spoke came to pass, just as Jehoshaphat knew it would. God's Word never fails.
