2: Chronicling COVID-19 - "Playing to an Empty Room"

from The Growl · host CFHS Tiger Times

Welcome to Chronicling COVID-19, a special series brought to you by the creators of The Growl at The Tiger Times newspaper. Join host Maggie Mills as she documents the COVID-19 pandemic through the stories of those affected. While many professions have been able to weather the storm of this pandemic, one group that has been hit hard is the performance industry. In this second episode, Maggie speaks with two classical musicians, James Thompson and Jeannelle Brierley, about the impact COVID-19 has had on their lives as performers and teachers. Up until a few weeks ago both Thompson and Brierley were busy teaching and performing every day. Now they find themselves playing it by ear, hoping this will all be over soon.
