2 Corinthians 9-11
from Daily Devotional With Murphy Eyenike Hosted by Murphy Eyenike
The apostle Paul warns the believers in the Corinthian church about false prophets and their teachings. It is by far even more amazing to realise his warnings are still relevant today; But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 NLT. 3 strategies employed by the false apostles are mentioned here; they preach a different Jesus, they have a different kind of Spirit different from the Holy Spirit, and lastly, they teach a different gospel.
