2. Forgiveness: Forgive Ahead

When we feel offended it is often because we were unprepared to forgive in the first place. We function out of a mentality that expects everyone around us to be about MY desires and MY good! But we are living in a fallen world, full of sinful people! We are going to get hurt, attacked, offenses will be done against us! So how do we live in a world full of sin and still reflect the heart of Christ? We forgive before the offense ever comes. This week we will see the attitude of Jesus who knew fully what was going to happen to Him, and still chose to forgive those doing it, including us! Let’s learn through God’s word how we can function in our world, free from the chains of bitter offense, and reflecting the heart of our Savior!
