2 Kings 21-25

The Book of 1 & 2 Kings (it is best understood as one book) is fascinating. It outlines the rise and fall of ancient Israel by looking not just its kings, but the prophets that God sends to speak truth into their lives. As we journey through Kings, we will find violence, betrayal, power and politics. Sound familiar? There are so many themes we discover in Kings that speak into the challenges we are facing in our lives and in the world today. Most importantly, we will learn that the same God Who works in the midst of the messiness of the ancient world, can work in the messiness of our lives today.
