God brought judgment on Jerusalem because of the innocent blood that Manasseh had shed, which the Lord would not pardon. Pastor Andy analyzes: How could God save Jerusalem from Assyria less than 100 years earlier yet now bring complete destruction through Babylon? He shares how God's judgments are announced in advance in multiple ways (declared 800 years earlier in Deuteronomy, preached by prophets, read aloud when Josiah found the Book of the Law 23 years before destruction); demonstrate patience—giving time to repent; and clearly explain why they're happening.
