2 Kings Chapters 7-9

In this episode, we read 2 Kings chapters 7-9. We witness God miraculously end the famine in Samaria, using unlikely messengers to bring good news of deliverance. Elisha’s prophetic words come true as justice is carried out against the house of Ahab. We also see the dramatic rise of Jehu, who is anointed king and begins his mission to cleanse Israel of its idolatry. These chapters remind us that God keeps His promises, delivers His people, and brings judgment against evil.
