It is the sprint to the end, my friends, and I cannot think about anything else. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Our freedom is almost there. One more pop-up to go. But let’s talk about last week first. Jelly had her winter show at her school. It’s so cute. They do 2 shows a year and watching the little kids perform and sing and dance. It’s just, it brings joy to our hearts, and I’m so glad that that’s something that her school does and does for the families. We had dinner with our family afterward, and really the focus this past week was to prep for unique markets. Because it’s a 2 day event. It’s over the weekend. And honestly, it’s one of our favorite markets to do. We had an amazing turnout. Once again, we came prepared and ready, and it is just such a good feeling when you are just in your groove and you’re not worried as much as you normally are about what you might be forgetting or what you might have forgotten to pack. It’s just such a good feeling to know that, like, you’ve got a good rotation going, you know what I mean? We ended up selling out on Sunday and we got to shop and support our fellow vendors. And my dad watched the kids all weekend. So we were so grateful that we have a support system to be able to do these back-to-back events. On the personal side, the backyard project is making more progress. Last week, we finished the drainage, and then we got our rock and sand compacted and ready for pavers. So let’s move on to this week. This week, what’s on the calendar? Our last pop-up of the year is this Saturday in Long Beach. So we are so excited. We’d love to pop up in Long Beach. The community there is always so welcoming and so kind to us. And we ordered more sand and pavers for our backyard project, and that’s going to be hopefully completed. By the end of this week. If not, maybe the beginning of next week because it’s going to be raining here in LA. And we want to get as much done before that rain begins. Instead of a story time, I just want to share how extremely grateful I am for the relationships that we’ve developed over the years. And as a business owner, I know that saying it’s all about who you know. It is so true on so many levels, but really not just who you know, but the deep connections and friendships that you make over the years as an entrepreneur. Every time we do events like unique markets or any of our pop up events, it almost feels like a reunion because we’ve been doing the same ones for years. We always try out new ones and, you know, we test out the waters on things like that, but really the ones that we find our people at are the same ones. And so as I go into next year, that’s something that I want to allow to just be. for next year. There’s always this FOMO when you do pop-up markets of like, what if this event is good? What if we’re missing out? Um, people are other frienders are also recommending events that we should participate in. And like, Of course, there’s importance to that. Trying out and testing out new markets is always important because you never know what kind of connections or what kind of audience might be drawn to what you’re selling. But in this phase of life and in this season of our business, I think what we want to personally focus on is quality, not quantity of markets. So that’s something that we’re going to be considering going into next year because we have big plans for our CPG products. And that is growing our Amazon store, making sure that’s maintained, growing our own online store and building back up our direct to consumer base. And all the things that go in between. We have a huge goal of wanting to enter the US grocery market and not just Asian grocery stores. And so there are so many things that we have that are up in the air and are in play that we want to accomplish for next year. And as you know, we can’t clone ourselves and take it all on. If we’re going to add something on the plate for my own sanity, something’s got to give. So I think that’s going to be our pop-up markets. We are going to do markets, not saying that we’re not going to. We’re still going to do markets, but I wanna be really selective and wise about which ones we do next year. I want to thank you for your time. Thank you for listening. If you enjoyed this audio edition, please share it with a friend.
