Ik begin met het vertellen van ons verhaal. Maar waar en wanneer is het eigenlijk begonnen? Daar moest ik even over nadenken. Het blijkt dat het eerste zaadje mij bij in Zuid-Afrika is gepland zo'n 9 jaar geleden. Om vervolgens een jaar later in Noorwegen te ervaren: hier kan ik wel wonen! De jaren daarna vindt er een reeks van gebeurtenissen plaats die ervoor zorgt dat we steeds meer na gaan denken over emigreren.
