2 Peter 3:11-18
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that living holy and godly lives is not about striving to be morally pure or avoiding certain behaviors, but rather about being set apart by God through faith in Jesus Christ. This holiness is not a product of human effort, but rather a gift from God that allows us to live according to His will. The sermon advances the idea that our identity and purpose are rooted in our relationship with God, and that this relationship should shape our behavior and priorities. The takeaway for listeners is that true living is not about striving for a moral or spiritual ideal, but about surrendering to God's love and grace, and allowing it to transform us from the inside out.
