2 Samuel 13 - Audio

When the sin within our own heart goes unchecked, it is only a matter of time before we begin to act upon that sin. As we get into chapter 13 of 2nd Samuel, we find out that David's children had a lot of issues. David's son, Amnon, is in love with his half sister, Tamar, so he devises a plan to rape her. Upon fulfilling his plan, he no longer loves her, but hates her. Her brother Absolom hears of the matter and devises his own plans for revenge. All the while, David, though angry about what happened, behaves as if he's completely powerless to do anything about it.
