Abishai stepped in when David was worn out. Others stood when new threats came. Israel won every time, not because one man was strong, but because they fought together under God.That is a picture of the church. You were never meant to carry spiritual warfare by yourself. You are united to Christ, and through Christ you are joined to every believer who stands in His name. That union is not a theological abstraction. It is the ground under your feet when the enemy comes. Stand on it.Paul tells believers in Ephesians 6 that the real fight is not against people or circumstances. It is against spiritual forces. And the strength to stand does not come from your willpower or your personality. It comes from being in Christ and drawing on His power.When it feels like you are the only one struggling, understand that you belong to something far larger than yourself. The body of Christ surrounds you. The Spirit of God equips you. Jesus Himself intercedes for you.
