2 sue medical jet company over emotional distress from last year’s Northeast Philadelphia plane crash

from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand

She was in the drive-thru lane of a Dunkin' Donuts when a medical jet crashed in Northeast Philly last year. Khlood Hammad says she was subjected to blast forces, shockwaves and trauma by seeing “gruesome, disfigured human remains.” She's one of two people who have filed new lawsuits against the jet's operator, the Mexican company Med Jets. Hammad says she had physical injuries like trauma to her ears, dizziness and emotional distress. Yunelly Cervera says she saw the crash from her home. She's also suing for emotional distress, saying debris and human remains were falling from the sky and landed on her property right in front of her. Dozens of other lawsuits have already been filed against the company. Med Jets has not commented. (Photo by Thomas Hengge/Anadolu via Getty Images)
