2: This Volcano Erupted with Tourist Inside | The White Island Disaster

In today's episode, Kyra goes over the horrific volcano eruption that happened on Whakaari, a New Zealand Island, while tourist were still on the island. On December 9th 2019 the Whakaari active volcano erupted while tourists were on the island. Over 47 people were inside, and estimated that 22 people were killed and 23 were injured. In this episode, Kyra goes through the details and shares the stories from the survivors, those who risked their lives to save others, and even those who lost their lives, believing they were in a safe and controlled volcano tour.
