After murdering an Egyptian slave driver, Moses, a Hebrew who has been raised by Pharaoh's daughter in the royal courts escapes to the desert. 40 year's pass and the now shepherd Moses, has a strange meeting with God who commissions him to rescue his people from Egyptian slavery.
