20 - God Is Not About Us, and That's Great!

So often we can approach people and automatically jump to the conclusion that God is about us and against those that we are against. But what if it's not like that at all? Imagine hearing God tell you, "I'm not about your side. In fact, you're supposed to be about me and mine." This doesn't mean that God isn't for us (see Romans 8:31) because he is. He loves us and is not against us. But he is not about our side as we stand against others. Brian shares some things from his time in Joshua 5:13-14 (and please forgive him when he says Joshua 4 at the beginning of the podcast) and this topic of God not being about our sides as well as a couple of other things that popped into his mind while he was spending time with Jesus this morning.
