This week Brennen does his best to explain the changes made to Real Estate Excise Tax (REET) in Seattle going forward from 2020. He also does a quick recap of the history of the policy. The basic cliff notes on who will be affected are people who own homes they are looking to sell in certain specific price ranges. So, if you own a property that you’re looking to sell that is either priced under 500 thousand, or upwards of 1.5 million, you should give the episode a listen because this affects you!
