The choreography experience helped me figure out that I enjoyed being a leader, that I had creative visions, and that I can manage time, and manage people. And those are all things you need to run a business. -Liv Berger Beaty- A beautiful dance consists of a series of steps put together. An amazing adventure is no different. In the latest session of The DancePreneuring Studio, I catch up with my college friend Liv Berger Beaty as we discuss dance, business and how she planned her amazing adventure. Session Summary * Step to Success: Just as steps are necessary in a dance, there are steps to success in your life and business. In this segment, we discuss a step in the form of an app, a book, or a concept that will help you move forward. Today’s step is a collaboration tool called Nozbe . I love the clean interface and the ease of use. * The Dancers’ Dialect: Dance terminology as it relates to life and business. This week’s word is mirroring. Mirroring is an underlying tramadol no prescription needed technique commonly used in choreography for two or more dancers where they are facing each other and doing the same thing. Mirroring in business means you do the same ethical actions of a successful person. You don’t become their clone, you make what was successful for them, successful for you. Check out this video of how mirroring can be done. One of my favorite 80’s dance movies lol : ) * Feature Presentation: It was a pleasure catching up with my college classmate, Liv Berger Beaty, who has had great success with multiple businesses in Chicago and Colorado. I loved reading and hearing about her recent family trip that reaffirmed a number of business principles that we can apply to our great adventure of life.
