19 Stop at Cala Garibaldi
from [ENG] Linea delle Isole. Itinerary 3 - Monday · host eArs
In front of us we see Cala Garibaldi, a picturesque beach on the northern part of the island of Caprera. Known for its crystal-clear waters, white sand and surrounding pine forest, it is named after one of the main figures of the Italian wars of independence, General Giuseppe Garibaldi, who docked here in 1855 before settling on the island. It is a protected natural area. Here we will make our beach stop. It will soon be possible to disembark from the bow gangway. The time of return on board will be indicated on a special sign displayed on the quay. Please be punctual! Have a nice break, everyone.
