from The Journey to Becoming | Christian Living, Personal Development, Planning, Thriving Relationships, Routines, Personal Growth, Christian Women, Motherhood, Time Management, Schedules, Reduce Overwhelm · host Joy Johnson Life Coach for Christian Women
In today’s episode we take a look at the differences between reflection and rumination and the role they play in our thought life. What we focus on grows and if we are women who are on their journey to becoming all that God has created them to be, we need the necessary tools that will contribute to our growth, not hinder it. Thoughts that begin from reflection can often lead to rumination without even realizing it. These thoughts of rumination can become second nature and lead to deeper negative thinking patterns that can affect our relationship with ourselves and others. Learning to embrace a growth mindset and shift our thoughts to what is going to benefit us will ultimately lead us to all that God has for us.
