from Oddly Incorrect · host Oddly Incorrect

We talk masks, stats, and hunting Trump supporters - will it happen? Bone conducting headphones - good or great? The podcast microphone section in Best Buy was practically empty There is magic in the world. Wizards among the Muggles Persuasion is more art than science We all manipulate other people all the time. It's not even a question Coercion doesn't need to be physical - gaslighting, peer pressure, ostracisation, etc Being kicked out of the tribe might be the worst thing that can happen to you - same as solitary confinement Looks at anomalies to determine the mainstream - words, and tone can be manipulation Statistics: all statistics are manipulated - there is no way to confirm reality - even if experiments are done multiple times They care to conflate COVID tests with COVID anti-body tests - this is why the numbers are huge Every time you get tested is a CASE. Plus, add in all of the false positives, you have big numbers which are wrong They can't handle the truth. The truth would create cognitive dissidence If you are really scared, you will run. Otherwise, you'll pull out your phone and record it People cannot make sub-optimal decisions - they make decisions based on the data they have Ignore and discount studies and statistics which are non-repeatable Quantum is a different world. Humans can't even think of quantum things. Will it be a free-for-all or open season on Trump supporters if Joe Biden wins? Are non-mask-wearers going to be identified as Trump supporters and be the ones hunted We are months into COVID-19 and we still seem to know nothing about it!
