In part 2 of the opioid episode, Tom and Ben look at where we are now in regards to the opioid episode with some startling statistics. After that, the guys look at how practices are changing in family practice and prescribing controlled substances as well as looking at treatment options for opioid addictions. In looking at treatment options, they look at the most popular options currently available and discuss what some options may be with the future of treating those with opioid addiction. Ben and Tom also give out some numbers for help and wanted to make sure they get into the show notes.
