20 | Passion Week 2026, Saturday Biblical Encouragement

I am posting scripture each day this week that align to what happened the final week of Jesus' life here on earth.   Today's audio is very short because not much happened on Saturday, which is the Jewish Sabbath.  The laws required Jews to do no work on this day.  Yet we find the Pharisees in Matthew 27:62-66 meeting with Pilate to make sure Jesus' tomb was secured appropriately.  This is in contrast to the disciples who rested according to the law.  Luke 23:56 As you listen to these two short passages, I ask you to consider if your heart is aligned to Jesus' teaching as you approach Easter Sunday.
