20 Questions with Dr. Jeff Slater Author of "Boxer, Bouncer and now a Doctor"

It is another FIRST on the No Outlet Podcast...an actual Doctor! However...he is not just any Doctor; he is Dr. Jeff Slater the author of "Boxer, Bouncer and now a Doctor". The autobiography chronicles his amazing life story starting on the mean streets of Burnley UK where he physically transformed himself by learning how to box to defend himself against bullies. With a new-found ability of fighting, he became an in-demand bouncer all throughout Australia and the UK. He realized, however, that he needed to exercise his mind as well as his body and was soon back in the UK getting his doctorate. Folks...Determination, Hard Work and Self Belief are what this guy is all about and those are characteristics worth celebrating! Dr. Slater was kind enough to spend some time with us and was a total sport with all 20 questions! We discussed the best type of wine to pair with steak, UFOs, the proper way to pronounce Aluminum, Smokin' Joe Frazier, and the parallels of his story with that of Gary Webb's among several other topics.
