The National Variety Trials (NVT) Program was established by GRDC in 2005 and since then it has evolved into the largest coordinated variety trial network in the world. Each year, more than 640 trials are conducted across over 300 locations nationwide, encompassing 10 different crop species.  This year marks the 20-year anniversary of NVT – a great time to reflect on the evolution and success of the program.
