The major thing to celebrate this week was the 20th anniversary of the 'Battle in Seattle' protesters shut down the WTO meeting in 1999. We play a soundscape editing together from a documentary called Breaking the Spell. Gerald Keaney and I discuss the Seattle success and the other major convergences which happened around the country and world last decade. This special sedition of S #1312 features a surprise debate between Linda and Gerald Keaney in which Gerry announces 'neither Tehran nor Canberra'. It's a debate which started at the end of last weeks show about whether one could hold a radical poetry reading in Iran as freely as one can in Tehran.
