Unearth forgotten stories of healthcare in Victorian London in this captivating new audiobook.Following archaeological excavations by MOLA ahead of the construction of Oriel, a new state-of-the-art eye care, research and education centre, we know more than ever about the site where the St Pancras workhouse once stood. Oriel is a joint initiative between Moorfields Eye Hospital, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity and the archaeology excavations were part of Camden Council’s planning permission conditions for the new centre.
