2005-03-20 The Bridge

Why was Jesus weeping on Palm Sunday while the crowd was celebrating? What does it mean that we were created in God's image? This Palm Sunday message explores the profound distance between humanity's expectations and God's reality. Discover how people were originally designed as shadows of God—created to reflect His thoughts, emotions, and will—yet became spiritually dead and separated through the fall. Learn how Jesus Christ became the bridge spanning the impossible chasm between where God is and where humanity stands, offering not just forgiveness but complete restoration to our original created purpose. Through the cross, believers find their spirits reborn, their minds renewed, and their hearts transformed, enabling them to once again shadow God's glory in the world.
