As I volunteered to organize ceremonies for a woman and daughter's group. I tried to stop my niece becoming one of his wives. Society and its constructs let down our indigenous children. As girls from here were leaving their moms and our community, my niece was left behind, but it was not from the lack of trying from my brother and my older niece.
