from Spiritual Wisdom from Old Guys Hosted by Dave DeVries
What spiritual dangers do Christians face? How do pickpockets operate in the church? Imagine a Chicago bus driver shouting "Watch your valuables—pickpockets on board!" as suspicious characters step on. Immediately everyone clutches their purses and wallets. But what if spiritual pickpockets are stealing riches from Christians without anyone noticing? Discover the three ancient-yet-contemporary thieves that rob believers of the freedom, joy, and truth God wants to give: hollow philosophy that trusts tradition over revelation, legalism that makes Jesus insufficient, and mysticism that values subjective experience over objective faith. Learn why thankful people are pickpocket-proof and how to guard the treasures you have in Christ.
