私のお寺では年に一度、小学校高学年の子供達二十人前後が日曜から金曜日まで五泊六日をお寺で寝泊まりし、班分けをして食事の支度や片付け、掃除など日常生活の全てを高校生ボランティアの力を借りながら自分達の手で行う「寺子屋通学塾」というものを行っています。
