#201 - Breaking down the international windows

from USA Soccercast Hosted by USA Soccercast

The United States Women’s National Team just completed their October international window against Spain, and we begin Episode 201 by recapping how they did during the window. The USWNT struggled against #1 Spain in their two friendlies, losing 2-0 on Saturday but coming back to draw 2-2 on Tuesday. We look at who did well during the camp, who didn’t, and what the USWNT need to do to improve ahead of the Concacaf W Championship with an eye on qualifying for next summer’s Women’s World Cup. And, we discuss whether there’s a gap between Spain and the United States on the soccer field. We also discuss the second half of the USMNT’s international window as they completed a 4-0 window with wins over Mexico and Canada. It was a fun window, and some of the young guys stood out with exceptional performances. We go through the roster to see who did well and who really made a name for themselves as they prepare to face Haiti in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals.
