201: Unown

Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s 201st lesson on Pokémon biology. And in this class today, we will be taking a field trip to learn about Unown: the Symbol Pokémon. There are 28 different forms of Unown, with each representing a different letter of the alphabet (plus two punctuation marks). Like their namesake, Unown are shrouded in mystery and there’s a lot we don’t know about them. And although these Pokémon are shaped like hieroglyphs, many researchers wonder which came first: the ancient writings or the Unown. Something to ponder!
