2015 BLACK HISTORY MONTH SERIES PART 3

from In Search of Truth Dr. Emanuel DEng & DD · host Power Of One

Today, the 1st three rivers are not referenced by today's maps geographically. So, if we can find the Land mentioned in the bible , which surrounded the River, then we might find the approximate location of these 1st three rivers, which flowed through the Garden of Eden. Now the question changes to how do we identify the Land & then we will find the rivers? When we study the people of the Bible, we can tell who the people of the land are by simply knowing the names of the land and their ancestors’ names. Psalm 49:11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.Whether they were black or not depended on the name of the people and the name of the land they dwelt. Is the word Africa (see map 1.2) found in the Bible anywhere? It is believed by some that the word Africa was given to the continent by a man named Leo Africanus in the 1500’s. Hint, the last book in the Old Testament was written around 400 BC, therefore the answer to the question, is “No.” Africa’s landmasses are mentioned and talked about throughout the entire Bible, beginning with Genesis Chapter 2. Some ancient names for Africa are: 1) Akebu-lan, 2) Cush (Kush) and 3) The Land of Ham. “The Sumerians (c. 3,000 BC to 1,750 BC) were the non-Semitic founders and guardians of West Asia’s oldest known civilization… Problems numerous and complex seem to inevitably arise within the ranks of western scholars and academicians when confronted with the origins and ethnicity of civilizations, such as Sumer, that are admittedly ‘neither Semitic nor Indo-European… The Sumerians did, after all, call themselves the blackheaded people. ” (5) Civilization started in proximity near the Garden of Eden which is located in Classical Africa, Old Africa and Ancient Africa which is referred to as Africa and the Middle East today (See Map 1.2).
