2016 - 05 - 04 - Skywatchers Radio W/ Ioannis Syrigos & April Holloway

Join Angel, Crystal, Alan, and Chris as they welcome to Skywatchers Radio, The Co-Founders of Anicent Orgins Dr. Ioannis Syrigos & April Holloway to the show. The goal of Ancient Origins: At Ancient Origins we believe that one of the most important fields of knowledge we can pursue as human beings is our beginnings. And while some people may seem content with the story as it stands, our view is that there exists countless mysteries, scientific anomalies and surprising artifacts that have yet to be discovered and explained . Our goal is to highlight the very latest archaeological findings, peer-reviewed academic research and evidence, as well as offering alternative viewpoints and explanations of science, archaeology, mythology, religion and history around the globe. We’re the only Pop Archaeology site combining scientific research with out-of-the-box perspectives. Our Guests: Dr John (Ioannis) Syrigos is a co-owner and co-founder of Ancient Origins. John is a computer & electrical engineer with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, a lecturer, explorer and researcher. He has a personal passion for Ancient History, Mythology, Anthropology and Astronomy and in his spare time he investigates these subjects in depth. John currently undertakes expeditions and research in remote areas of Ecuador, where he is currently based, but also throughout South America. He has recently been involved in explorations of the Tayos Cave system in Ecuador, a legendary vast natural underground network of caves spanning many kilometers, very little of which has been officially explored, as well as La Ciudad Perdida (The Lost City) in Colombia, and is particularly interested in the history and mythology of ancient sites as relayed by the local indigenous people of these regions. April Holloway is a Co-Owner, Editor and Writer of Ancient Origins. She has also contributed as a guest writer for other media organizations, including The Epoch Times and iSpectrum Magazine. April completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree and published research in the field of Educational Psychology.
