作者介绍
艾琳·布朗出生在伯明翰，1995年搬到威尔特郡之前，她在伦敦生活了20多年。她曾从事过学校教师等工作，后成为作家、插画家，第一本书出版于1977年。
艾琳·布朗独立创作了许多书，《汉娜的惊喜》是其中最著名的一本。她还曾与Kit Wright、Tony Bradman 和Floella Benjamin等作家合作进行图书创作。与Tony Bradman合作的《Through My Window》一书，入围1986年聪明豆儿童图书奖（Smarties Book Prize）。《No Problem》入围1994年诺丁汉郡儿童图书奖 （Nottinghamshire Children's Book Award）。《汉娜的惊喜》入围1995年谢菲尔德儿童图书奖（Sheffield Children’s Book Awards）
