Apropos of such a rare occasion, after over a decade of painstaking Martian deep radar studies, ESA — the European Space Agency — just announced the possible discovery of a liquid-water lake on Mars — over 12 miles long, and buried under the south polar Martian ice cap … over a mile down …. Or, is it? Remarkably, this “buried Martian lake” is located — wonder of wonders — at ~195 longitude on Mars … another “19.5!” How come?! What if, in fact, the Europeans actually have detected the radar signature of an ancient, buried, long-abandoned Martian city … the last surviving one … before “the Martians” were forced to come to Earth?
