2019 in Review: The Year of the Mouse

With a new year, comes a new season! Welcome to the first episode of 2020! Derek and John are back, and on this weeks show they are looking back at 2019 and how the year closed out strong with multiple releases out of the Star Wars universe. And one would think that Lucasfilms would be the big winner, but they soon realize that Disney are the ones laughing all the way to the bank. With the launch of Disney+, the start of the newest series 'The Mandalorian', the release 'Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order", and the closing of one of the greatest sagas in history with 'Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker', the guys realize where the money is really going and they dive deep into the rabbit hole of Disney ownership and exactly how far the mouse's grasp actually reaches.
