Just know this, knowledge seeker, there is no turning back. The first step toward becoming a knowledgeable fanatic is to get obsessed with your hobby. There’s nothing wrong with this, and it’s not at all like being a nerd. All fanatics are nerds, but many are just starting on the path. Many people start out as casual fans, then move on to the next level when they realize there’s more to the hobby than just enjoying it. This step requires dedication and determination. Keep reading, watching, or listening as much as you can. Once you’ve become immersed in a subject, you can’t stop studying it for long periods of time without feeling bored and restless. This is because your brain has short attention spans and cannot digest information quickly. What ends up happening is that you end up learning less than when you started because your brain has had too much information to process at once. Therefore, you must be careful not to study too much at once or else you may lose interest in your passion later on down the road. When obsessing over your hobby, try to immerse yourself in it completely. Try not to think about anything else when you’re involved in the hobby, such as work or social life. By doing this, you will gain a better understanding of what it is about your passion that makes you so passionate about it in the first place. — thinking sport fanatics.
