202 God's Lamb Easter 2024
from The Cottage Hosted by The Cottage
We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this session, we continue John 1:29 and John the Baptist's proclamation, "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" This is a three-part series for Easter Sunday 2024. This second part focuses on God's Lamb in his resurrection as a sacrifice whereby Jesus gives his life back to the Father to restore the heavens and cleanse the cosmos beginning our comparison with Lev 16 and the Day of Atonement with Jesus fulfilling the first ram. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives. Stay tuned for our future episodes as we continue to discover more mysteries of the Bible in the sessions that follow.
