202. When You're Grieving (Hold Fast)
from Moments of Worship · host Pastor Keith McMinn
Send us Fan MailGrief visits us in many forms—through the loss of loved ones, tragic events, or the deep sorrow over our own sin. But the Bible assures us that grief is not a sign of weakness or lack of faith. Rather, it is a place where God meets us. Psalm 34:18 promises, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Whether your heart is shattered by loss or heavy with regret, God draws close. He comforts, restores, and redeems our sorrow. So don’t run from your grief—bring it to the Lord. Lament honestly, wait patiently, and hope deeply, for “weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” (Psalm 30:5). Let your tears become prayers, and your grief become worship, as you cling to the God who never lets go.Psalm 34:18
